Ahoy! I’m Yaser. I graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours in 2015. My interest in hand therapy started long before that, after spending a fair chunk of my teenage years on the other side of the treatment table with ligament injuries, fractures, and post-surgical rehab. That experience shaped how I practise today. I take a practical, empathetic, and education-focused approach, helping patients understand their injury and feel confident getting back to what matters to them.
I’m an Associate Member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) and have completed a range of specialised hand therapy courses while working across both public and private settings in Melbourne. I treat a wide variety of work, sport, and trauma-related injuries, with a particular interest in post-operative care and complex cases. Alongside clinical work, I’m involved in mentoring junior therapists, contributing to service development, and supporting best-practice care across the clinic.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking for friends and family (cleaning optional), gaming or binging a good TV show, training at the gym, or walking my cats around the block.
