Accredited Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist)

Hayley graduated from La Trobe University, successfully completing her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2011. She has further refined her skills in hand therapy by completing numerous courses through the Australian Hand Therapy Association. By completing advanced courses Hayley has also been awarded the Accredited Hand Therapist (AHT) title through the Australian Hand Therapy Association.

Hayley developed a passion for hand therapy in the first year of her studies and completed multiple clinical placements in hand therapy. Immediately after graduating, Hayley began her career in hand therapy and hasn’t looked back. She spent two years working in the public system at two major Victorian trauma hospitals, and later joined the Re-wired team in 2013.

Hayley has extensive experience and keen interest in trauma injuries including fractures (hand, wrist and elbow), tendon repairs and transfers, in addition to complex upper limb nerve injuries including adult brachial plexus. Hayley has also worked with various athletes (state, national and international) assisting with their return to sport. She strives to achieve the best possible outcome for all her patients and enjoys the journey of seeing patients achieve their goals.
