Sara completed her study at Curtin University. She worked in rehabilitation prior to starting in upper limb therapy, and has been with Re-wired Hand Therapy since 2012.
She embraces life-long learning with fervour and has been busy the last couple of years fulfilling some of her personal goals for professional development. She has studied for and passed the Certified Hand Therapy exam which is an overseas qualification. In addition, the Certified Hand Therapist has successfully passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation.
Recently, she has started a post-grad research degree with Monash University. This is looking at outcomes following brachial plexus injury. This is part-time and will be conducted over the next 6-8 years.
Sara enjoys working with clients to achieve their functional goals and seeing them return to the daily activities that are meaningful to them.
