Matilda

Practitioner of Hand Therapy (Occupational Therapist)

Matilda graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2021 where she completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Whilst at university Matilda’s keen interest in Hand Therapy was consolidated and she was fortunate to have completed two clinical placements in the area. Matilda spent time as a student at both The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Alfred, working and learning within their busy outpatient Hand Therapy departments. Matilda went onto join the Re-Wired team in September 2021.

Matilda is an Associate member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) and aspires to become an Accredited Hand Therapist. She enjoys broadening her skills and knowledge through completing courses offered by the AHTA.

Matilda enjoys treating trauma injuries including fractures of the hand and wrist, arthritis and chronic hand conditions. Matilda always endeavours to assist her patients in achieving their therapy goals and returning to all the activities they enjoy engaging in.

Outside of work, you will find Matilda spending time with her family/ friends, online shopping and attending to her indoor plants.
